Divivor in 2019

It’s been a while. I hope everyone had some happy holidays and celebrated the beginning of this new decade.
This blog post will be a little bigger. That’s why it will be seperated in 2 parts. This is part 1.
What happened in 2019?
I started actively going online with my creations as Divivor in October 2018, but everything started rolling after the release of the Advanced Asteroid System on December 27 of 2018. This makes essentially 2019 my first full year in doing the stuff I do.
After that I made some experiments.
There was also the Puzzle Game I tried making, which turned into the First Person Puzzle Template.
It’s actually not as dead as I thought it will be.
I also met a lot of cool people, including Ronan Mahon who got his fabrics sponsored on the Unreal Marketplace. Then I made a fractal denim tree with it, because why not?
But Everything Changed when
the fire nation attacked article 13/17 happened. It is still unclear what will happen.
Some secret projects were also still happening:
But then I’ve got this weird notification on Twitter.
Oh, GameTextures.com tried the Simple Asteroid System.
And I also got in contact with another Marketplace Creator. Jacob is his name and this is what he does.
He also develops a great looking game with Robot Cowboys.
June 2019. Nintendo officially announced the Breath of the Wild Sequel. The first game was a pretty big inspiration for me.
Also June 2019. The first blog post on the new website. This took way too long, but I am happy how it currently looks.
In July I built my very first computer. I hated making it, but the result is perfect. I even have now an RTX card…which I didn’t buy for raytracing but for the performance. My workflow has speeded up a lot with this new computer.
But I still did raytracing Stuff.
I have released the First Person Puzzle Template, which was based on my puzzle game project at the beginning of the year. After that I got more silent.
I had fun with Manifold Garden by William Chyr.
And donated some trees to https://teamtrees.org/ .
But in November, I announced Pixels of the Universe.
I still don’t have a lot of information that I want to share with the world. I should be happy with it before that.
And that was 2019. Short version.
And a small shoutout to Moonmen Games and the people on the Discord. No, I didn’t forget you.
