The followup to Divivor in 2019
In this blog post I will be talking about things that are happening this year! (Or atleast are planned to happen!)
During the first half of the year, I will be less focused on my online presence and development of Assets & Games. My apprenticeship is near its end, which is combined with a lot of exams, so that is where my focus is going to move for now.
The second half of 2020 will be focused on Game Development. If everything goes well I will be able to create Assets and Games full-time.
The asset department already has a lot of work done, but there is still a lot left. There are over 4 assets already in development. It’s just a matter of polishing now. I will give you some hints on what is coming.
Here is a list of what to come.
- Advanced Asteroid System V2 – Q1 2020
This will be a complete overhaul of the current AAS with more features and a more performant and modular setup. If everything goes as planned it will be released in March.
- Untitled VR Asset – Q3/Q4 2020
I also have some upcoming Virtual Reality Assets in the works. More on that later.
- Untitled UI Asset – Q2 2020
This will be a lifesaver for a lot of UE4 Users.
- Untitled Manger Asset – Q1/Q2 2020
A wild “Manager” Asset has appeared.
More information will be released in the coming months.
Pixels of the Universe
Now this one is important.
In November 2019 I announced that Pixels of the Universe is in development. Like I said, my work here will be slowed down during the first half of 2020, so I will also have nothing big to announce about it for now.
I want to release a bunch of little games this year. A little bit like a personal game jam for the whole year. The reason for this is to have the opportunity to finish some games and also learn and understand more about my own project management.
Actually this blog entry was supposed to contain more information. I decided against it before I over promise others and myself too much.
